31 OCT – Arrival in Delhi – India

 

Upon arrival at Delhi airport, you will be greeted by a representative of Viajes Ver La India. He will take you to the hotel in a private car. Check-in and hotel accommodation.

DELHI: the modern capital of India is also an ancient city whose origins are lost in legend. Hundreds of monuments adorn it, with its carved and ancient history. From this city numerous Hindu and Muslim dynasties, including the Mughals, ruled India. No less than 7 successive cities existed here before the arrival of the British, who would create, with the help of Sir Edwin Lutyens, their dream capital.

NOV. 01 – In DELHI

 

Breakfast. We will visit the Lotus Temple, and the Sikh Temple – Gurudwara. In the afternoon, excursion to the Akshardham temple in Delhi, it is a complex made of pink stone and white marble. It is decorated with 234 columns carved in stone, it has more than 20,000 sculptures and statues of divinities. Around 6:00 p.m., we will visit the fair/market for the festival organized on these dates. Dinner and accommodation.

 

NOV.02 – DELHI – AGRA

 

Breakfast at the hotel and departure by road to Agra. Arrival in Agra and Check in at the  hotel.                        Next, visit the Red Fort of Agra, built by Emperor Akbar and where numerous palaces are located.

Next, we will visit the world famous Taj Mahal (closed on Fridays), one of the seven wonders of the world, built on the banks of the Yamuna River. We will enjoy the views of this monument, a symbol of eternal love, to see it at sunset.

Its construction began in 1631 and for 22 years, 22,000 people worked to build one of the most beautiful monuments in the world, dedicated by Emperor Shah Jahan to his wife Mumtaz Mahal.

You can visit the market to see the local crafts of the city of Agra, famous for its white marble handicraft products with use of precious and semi-precious stones.

NOV.03 – AGRA – Fatehpur Sikri – JAIPUR

 

Breakfast. Departure by road to Jaipur, making a stop 40 km from Agra to visit the beautiful Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri. It is one of the most beautiful desert cities in India.

The foundation of this “ghost” city was dedicated by Emperor Akbar to Saint Salim Chisti, who blessed him and predicted the birth of his son. In gratitude. After the visit, you will continue by road to Jaipur. Arrival in Jaipur and check in at the hotel.In the afternoon, panoramic tour of the city of Jaipur, where in addition to an orientation tour of the pink city and its bazaars, you will be able to see the Albert Hall (Palace built by the Maharaja of Jaipur to commemorate the visit of King George of England) , today converted into a museum, next we will visit the Birla temple of the Hindu religion.

NOV.04 – JAIPUR – Amer – JAIPUR

 

Breakfast. We will visit Amber, which from the road gives us a spectacular image. We went up to her fortified palace on an elephant. We will make a photo stop at the Palacio de Viento y del Lago. Returning to Jaipur we will visit the Maharaja’s Palace and its museums. We will also be surprised by the colossal instruments of the Jai Singh Observatory.

Around 6:00 p.m., we will go to the city palace to see the religious ceremony of the festival of lights – Diwali. Dinner and accommodation.

NOV.05 – AGRA – DELHI

Breakfast. Check-out at 12:00.

Then, departure by road to Delhi International Airport. We will drop you at the Delhi airport around 6 pm.
