During these days the arrival of spring is commemorated, and to do so, water is mixed with a colored powder from different herbs, which traditionally were neem, kumkum, jaldi, bilva and other medicinal herbs, which according to Ayurveda experts, They helped avoid fevers or colds caused by the change of season. MAR 11 – AMERICA / EUROPE – DELHI

Upon arrival at Delhi airport, you will be greeted by a representative of Viajes Ver La India. He will take you to the hotel in a private car. Check-in and hotel accommodation.

DELHI: the modern capital of India is also an ancient city whose origins are lost in legend. Hundreds of monuments adorn it, with its carved and ancient history. MAR 12  – IN DELHI

Breakfast. In the morning visit to Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India, in the heart of old Delhi. We will take a photo stop at the Red Fort and approach the Raj Ghat, the place where Gandhi was cremated, and the Sikh temple. Panoramic of the government buildings along the Raj Path and the imposing India Gate. To complete our tour we visited the impressive 72-meter Qutub Minar Minaret. Tall.  Dinner in hotel.

 

MAR 13 – DELHI – JAIPUR

Breakfast. Departure by road to Jaipur, the “Pink City, capital of Rajasthan.

Arrival and check-in at the hotel.

In the afternoon, we will visit a textile factory where we will be taught the work of printing natural colors, how to dress Sari and Punjabi. Here they can make us custom dresses. Then we will go to the city to see the Holi bonfires. Back to the hotel.  Dinner in hotel.

 

MAR 14 – JAIPUR – Holi Color Festival

Breakfast.  Today the festival of colors is celebrated, we will participate in the party from 09:00 to 12:30 hrs.  in the city. We return to the hotel. Food in hotel.

In the afternoon, we will visit Birla temple to see the evening Aarti ceremony. Dinner in hotel. 

 

 MAR 15 – JAIPUR – Amer – JAIPUR

Breakfast. We will visit Amber, which from the road gives us a spectacular image. We went up to her fortified palace on an elephant. Palace pavilions are adorned with paintings and marble filigree.

Returning to Jaipur we will visit the Maharaja’s Palace and its museums. We will also be surprised by the colossal instruments of the Jai Singh Observatory.   Dinner and accommodation.

 

MAR 16 – JAIPUR/ Abhaneri/Fathepur Sikri/AGRA

Breakfast. Departure in the morning, visit the Abhaneri stepwell and visit Fathepur Sikri, imperial capital paralyzed in time.

It was the last city built by Akbar and abandoned apparently due to lack of water. We continue towards Agra, a city that alternated with Delhi as the capital of the Mughal Empire.         Dinner and accommodation in hotel.

 

MAR 17 – IN AGRA

Visit of the Taj Mahal, which with unsurpassed architectural perfection captivates those who contemplate it. Breakfast. Next, we will visit the Red Fort of Agra, on the banks of the Yamuna River, in the heart of the city. It reflects Indian architecture under three Mughal emperors: Akbar, Jehangir and Shah Jahan.

In the afternoon, we will visit Akbar Church. Dinner and accommodation.

 

 MAR 18 – AGRA – Jhansi – Orcha – KHAJURAHO

Breakfast. Depart by Shatabdi Express train to Jhansi and continue by road to Orcha, visit the Raj Mahal Palace. After lunch, continue by road to Khajuraho, where the most exquisite temples in India are located, built between the 10th and 11th centuries by the Chandela kings. Dinner in hotel.

 

MAR 19 – KHAJURAHO – VARANASI

Breakfast. In the morning we will visit some of the 22 temples or nagaras that still remain. Although they present very diverse motifs, the best-known figures are the so-called “mithuna” that stand on high platforms. Then departure by plane to Benares, the city of the “Thousand Stairs” and also the most sacred in India. In the afternoon, we will go to the bank of the Ganges River to watch the afternoon “Aarti” ceremony. Dinner in hotel.

 

MAR 20 – VARANASI – DELHI/EUROPE/AMERICA

At dawn we will take a boat trip along the Ganges, where we will see the faithful along the ghats, purifying themselves and making their offerings. Next we will take a walk through the labyrinth of alleys of the city, where the streets are a stage of life. Return to the hotel and breakfast.

 At midday transfer to Varanasi airport to take the flight to Delhi. 

Upon arrival at Delhi airport, you will be in transit to take the flight to your next destination.
